It’s a little overshadowed today, with news of Maurice Sendak’s passing, but I’m reminding myself today to celebrate. I am quietly sending my hopes and wishes into the world with this book… for everyone to have a happy family.♥

Happy (belated) book birthday! Going to download it from Kobo now.
late to the party as usual, but no less enthusiastic for all that (throwing confetti). I have just ordered it!
happy book birthday!
My copy’s on its way in the mail. I’m so looking forward to reading it!
Happy book birthday, Tanita! I just got a message from my bookstore yesterday saying that your book was in, which makes me think that they had already ordered copies before I called. I look forward to reading it.
Your writing another book is always cause for happiness. Don’t let anything overshadow that.

Congratulations!
Thank-you, Bestie.♥
Huzzah!!!! May some child from a happy family eat a letter from you in the future!
Isn’t that the cutest Sendak story? I can see loving something that much…
Congratulations, Tanita! I can’t wait to read your book. I’m going to be picking up some books from my local indie soon and will buy/order it from them. Off to check on that right now. Yay!
Thank you for the cheers!
Congratulations! Happy, happy book birthday!! Remember that Mr. Sendak got to live the exact life he wanted, with critical and financial success and thank you notes from children. You deserve the same!
You are so, so right. I remind myself of that – he lived as he chose, for the most part, and died when he was well good and ready, and had the kind of career he wanted. And may we have the courage to grasp that for ourseves, amen.
(From our mouths to God’s ear.) 😉
Please do celebrate, Tanita, and don’t let anything overshadow this great and exciting accomplishment. I’m going to order my copy of Happy Families right now and look forward to the read. Well done!
Thank you so much, Ethel. It’s crazy how much you have to FORCE yourself to cheer for yourself, but I watch you dance, and am learning the steps. ♥
