And this morning, I sat down at my desk to write – in longhand for a change – and heard the increasingly louder baaa-ing of sheep filling my ears. SHEEP. In the field across from the backyard (garden). SO not in Glasgow anymore.
Move completed, but only mobile wireless internet so no new pictures until later – must use our online time sparingly. Revising a manuscript for sub to a new editor after yet another kind rejection of SISTER CITIES. I’m wondering – again – if I really know how to write for MG! But, my SAM says it’s too early for me to be fretting, so we’ll see.
Meanwhile, the sheep send you greetings.
I think they’re chilling because of those rectangular pupils. I never can quite get past those… 🙂 Their baa-ing, though, makes a nice serenade, I imagine.
Hahah! I’d kind of … forgotten… about the pupils.
HMMM.
Keep on keeping on with the MG manuscript.
I love sheep. They’re nice animals to be around, too. They’re friendly and always just kind of chilling.
These sheep are mostly of the same age group – I think. Can’t tell. They call each other a lot, and a few of them wander away, and pretty much turn their backs and act all adolescent, so I think there’s bound to be some family groups. They amuse me.
And yes. I am totally easily amused.
I’m tickled that you have sheep to greet you in the morning. I find farm sounds comforting. There is an illegal rooster in our neighborhood, and I’m GLAD he’s there–much preferable to car alarms and monster stereos.
Is SAM your Sanguine Attitude Manager?
Hahah! Nope, if you’ll notice on the right there’s a little icon about it: SAM/S.A.M. is my Secret Agent Man.
I need a Sanguine Attitude Manager, though. But I think he’d get annoying.
