There is a real hunger coming out of winter, and the sights and sounds of spring certainly do satisfy.
I love that your poems are making me think and reflect about what I’m reading. That’s pretty powerful for a “little” (short poetic form) poem!
@Tricia Stohr-Hunt: I always remember the weird things we say to small children or pets, about loving them so much we want to “eat them up?” I kind of want to eat flowers. The hunger is real… !
