{thanksfully 2.0: humor}

This isn’t actually funny to me for the reasons the church may have thought it would be. This is funny to me because I think this proves the Divine has a sense of humor, since lightning bolts haven’t yet fallen.

Humor is so subjective, and yet I just spent time with our yard guy, chit-chatting and totally wasting time, and laughing at our technological idiocy (he lost his audiobook where on his iPad. How do you do that??) and the world at large. Some people are just easy to laugh with, because they are rich in humor. Life which has taught me to mine the vein of humor that runs through me. Most of the time I can meet the challenges of the day with snickers instead of sobs, which, given my life and the state of this world, is truly a gift of grace… and for this, I give thanks.
